In the June 2016 quarterly update blog post Microsoft did not mention any available updates for Exchange 2010, which might seem odd considering the March 2016 quarterly updates included Exchange 2010 SP3 UR13. Normally a clearer announcement is made on the Exchange team blog, but not this time for some reason.
Well as it turns out, Update Rollup 14 has been released about 1 week prior as part of the MS16-079 security update, and contains security fixes for Oracle libraries that are rated as Important.
Update Rollup 14 for Exchange 2010 SP3 can be downloaded here.
MS16-079 is also how Exchange 2007 SP3 UR20 was released.
hi,
so just be clear, is UR14 include UR13 ?
or i still need to tun UR 13 separately?
Thanks

Hi Paul,
Please confirm shall we go ahead and install he roll up 14 in our environment.
anyone had issues with ur 14 ???
Other than two reported issues here. Are there any confirmed issues I have to know prior to installing it?
Yeah, I have some problems after I have done this. Looks like I am not the only one?
Anybody have issues with online archives not appearing in Outlook 2010 after applying the rollup?
According to this article https://technet.microsoft.com/library/security/MS16-079 it states :
This security update is rated Important for all supported editions of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, Microsoft Exchange Server 2013, and Microsoft Exchange Server 2016.
Having a few weird issues since rolling out this patch
Some emails not coming into Outlook but appear on the phone… Hrmmm
Dave are you still having issues since updating? Getting ready to update and don’t need issues!!
Hi Paul,
in my opinion, Microsoft’s not very clear about the affected versions inside the published bulletin https://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/security/ms16-079
1. Exchange 2010 Sp3 seems to be affected. Only the core version of SP3? What about Rollup versions in between like Exchange 2010 SP3 RU8 or Exchange SP3 RU10? Are these affected as well?
2. same for Exchange 2013. affected versions show SP1, CU11 and CU12. What about Exchange 2013 CU9 for example?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards
Marcel

Correct. They don’t make statements about unsupported versions of the products, only supported versions.
“correct” means that Exchange 2010 SP3 RU8 and Exchange SP3 RU10 ARE affected by this security issue? 🙂

They might be, they might not be. There’s no statement either way.
where can I find Information on which Exchange Versions are still “supported”?
Exchange 2010 SP3 RU8 is not a supported Version anymore?
Exchange 2013 CU11 is still supported, although CU12 has been released already?
thanks.
