Notice regarding Plutonica.net RSS feeds

A note for those who aren’t aware: the Plutonica.net feed captured by LiveJournal usually only shows the first hundred or so words; you need to click on the link where it says (more…) to continue reading the rest of the post. The same with viewing posts from the front page of the website itself, click on Read the rest of this entry to continue reading.
Also, comments left on LiveJournal are not fed back to the blog, and they will automatically disappear after about a week. To ensure your comments are seen, please post them on Plutonica.net - I love feedback, and part of creating this blog was to generate discussion: I would love to have heated debates, general conversation and shared experience.
Registration is not necessary to read the blog1, but to filter out the spammers that populate many other blogs, registration is required if you’d like to post a comment. You only need to register once, and it’s really straightforward. Many browsers even allow you the option of remaining logged on when you close the website.
Features related to comments: Replies to comments you’ve made are e-mailed to you so you can easily keep track of threads you participate in. If there’s interest I can look into setting up a mailing list to send e-mails when the blog is updated. (Let me know.) Top commentators for the blog are hot linked on the right for those who list websites in their profiles, and recent comments appear beneath, showing the commentator and post commented on.2
Just another small update, I’ve added a Links page with links to the websites of friends and colleagues - if there’s anyone I’ve forgotten, please let me know.
