Plutonica.net is on Facebook

By Psyche | December 2, 2009

We’ve just added a brand new Facebook fan page for Plutonica.net.

It’s been up for about two weeks and we’ve already got more than fifty fans, which is great.1

Fans see updates about the site, new posts, and other resources.

We’ll also post questions, solicit feedback and ideas, and you’ll be able to interact with others who share similar interests, ask questions, get advice and we’ll see what else!

You can find me there, and several others who’ve contributed to Plutonica.net over the years. So if you’re interested in interacting in another medium, I highly recommend checking it out and becoming a fan.

I’m still learning about fan pages, so let me know if you have any thoughts, suggestions or ideas about what you’d like to see.

eWe, Facebook. Nope, I won’t be following you there.

Nevertheless, hopefully you’ll get some substantive feedback… but I wouldn’t bet on it.

I’ve never seen it do much more than reduce productivity.

Since I was 16 I’ve lived in dozens of different cities, states and countries. The people “I disconnected from for various reasons” could/would find me if it really mattered.

Sociologically, I find Facebook even less appealing.

But hey, if you’ve got the time/resources to invest, best of luck with it!

I like keeping connected with people. It’s interesting to see where people are today, even if I haven’t spoken to them in years.

It’s also provied a great way to keep in contact with people I’ve met over the course of my thirteen years spent in various places online. Forums form and disappear every few years, but Facebook has exceeded all other means of keeping connected with people I’d otherwise lose track of.

But hey, that’s just me. :)

I have joined and I am now the 93rd member/fan. Funny as I was delving into some thoughts that went into the vein of Thelema. Cheers!
