Sparian publisher Fulgur has a variety of items available for sale for Austin Osman Spare collectors, such as two issues of The Golden Hind (pictured left), several portraits and sketches, including a sketchbook from Spare’s art school classes during the early 50s.

A few of the items have already sold, for more information and photographs of what’s available, see “Original Art for Sale“.

While you’re there, also check out “Production and Launch Images” from the book launch of The Valley of Fear.  Included is a thirteen minute sound clip of Robert Ansell discussing “strange omens and profound synchronicities” surrounding production from the book’s launch at Treadwell’s in London on July 15th.

Readers with long memories may recall Plutonica.net’s post in January announcing the soon-to-be-published book, the sound clip explains some of the complications surrounding the much anticipated work.

While the deluxe edition is sold out, Europeans may purchase the regular edition directly from Fulgur (or their favourite local occult shop), and those of us in North America will find it available from JD Holmes, where I bought my copy.
